With over a decade dedicated to Honor the Earth as marketing director, I have honed a unique blend of skills spanning merchandise commerce, full-package graphic design, marketing, social media, web development, and media creation. My journey took a purposeful detour as a water protector, prioritizing this vital work over my design ventures, LittleRedfeather Design and We Live Native Collection. Throughout my impactful roles as executive director, co-creative curator, marketing director, and co-founder of the Giiwedinong Museum, I have consistently demonstrated the value of versatility and the strength that comes from wearing many hats. This path has deepened my commitment to meaningful storytelling, community-driven initiatives, and the power of authentic representation.
As a tribal descendant of the White Earth Anishinaabe, my mother and grandmother are enrolled tribal members and direct family lineage to Lac Courte Oreilles. I have over 10 years of experience in the arts and cultural sector, as well as movement-based nonprofit organizations. With over 20 years of experience in graphics, marketing, media, business development, management, and business planning, I am well-equipped and eager to acquire the knowledge necessary to ensure your success.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills by spearheading multiple projects that have gained widespread acclaim and admiration in the industry. My experience in design, graphic arts, marketing, and events has helped propel the museum forward, even with limited resources, resulting in significant recognition. My innovative approach to marketing and graphic design has been described as groundbreaking, showcasing a creative exploitation of new ideas.
